- I'm a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging (Sepulcre Lab, Gordon Center for Medical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts, USA)). My research is centered on characterizing the topological and functional organization of the human brain during healthy aging and Alzheimer's Disease. In my research works I mostly use data collected from brain imaging techniques such as task and resting-state functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, as well as, graph-based metrics to better understand the human connectome and its relation to cognitive, behavior and biological variables. My recent projects have explored different brain systems: network organization, sensory-motor integration, attentional control and working memory processes. Successfully published author in first quartile neuroscience and neuroimaging journals, independent peer-reviewer, undergraduate and graduate school teacher, and trainer/mentor of predoctoral candidates, master and undergraduate students.
